Overview

Born in Tokyo in 1937. After graduating from Waseda University in 1960, joined Sony Corporation. Was primarily in charge of overseas operations in Europe. After leading Sony’s audio, computer and home video businesses, was appointed president of Sony Corporation in 1995. During his 10-year tenure as top management at Sony, led the company through a major transformation. After leaving the company, established Quantum Leaps Corporation in September 2006 where he is working to help transform major companies as well as nurture venture businesses. Director of the nonprofit organization, Asia Innovators Initiative, as well as head of the societal movement, Adventure Village. Appointed to his current position at Quantum Leaps in April 2020.

Born in 1959. Joined Sony Corporation after graduating from the University of Tokyo in 1982. Served as president of Sony Europe Finance before being appointed to head the CEO Strategy Office (for then CEO Nobuyuki Idei). After serving as the person in charge of Sony Group brand management, general affairs, IR, corporate communications and CSR, was appointed chairman and representative director of Frontage Inc., a joint venture company of Sony Corporation and Dentsu Inc. Became senior advisor of Frontage in 2020. Appointed to his current position at Quantum Leaps in April 2020.

Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1966. After graduating from Doshisha University and the University of York Graduate School (UK), joined Sony Corporation in 1990 as a member of the staff of Sony founder Akio Morita (then chairman). Worked in the divisions in charge of finance, So-net and VAIO before becoming president of Sony Korea (overseeing consumer products). In 2010, joined Misumi Group as assistant to the president and then later, division manager. In 2012, worked with Nobuyuki Idei to establish Quantum Leaps Asia Corporation and served as representative director. Was appointed executive officer, president and COO of Quantum Leaps Corporation in January 2018. Appointed to his current position at Quantum Leaps in April 2020.
